Aromatic, balance between sweet and salty
Combine the sliced pork neck and marinade mixture, leave for marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator or overnight for the best result. Remove pork from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
Preheat the grill pan and brush with a little oil. Grill pork over medium-hot fire until slightly charred and cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side. You can also bake the pork in oven. Preheat oven at 220oC and baked the pork for 10 minutes. Finish cooking by broiling in the oven until a nice golden brown colour develops, flipping the pieces midway.
Transfer meat to a platter brush with half of spring onion oil and sprinkle with fried shallots.
